Nope not the University of British Colombia, here is Long Island rap group The UBC, producer CaeLove, DJ D-Nasty, The Blitz and rapper 'E-Ski Spectacular Show'. I copped this for 5 bucks last week and figured I'd drop this in a high quality rip for anybody that wants it.
The album dropped on EMI in 1990 but these tracks were originally conceived in 1987 when the group was signed to the First Priority label; I could see how they would fit with that whole Kings Of Swing, Alliance, Pos-K style. This album is pretty good, E-Spectac is particularly nice of the mic, he was in the original line up of Leaders Of The New School until a beef with Charlie Brown caused him to split with the group and join The UBC. I am still no closer to understanding what UBC stands for by the way, maybe somebody can figure it out for me.

Wow! I haven't been to BTF in a few years....
So glad to see this up here for the people. I copped this probably five or six years ago on CD and it still gets constant rotation from me.
I had no clue UBC was down with First Priority or that E-Spectac was an original Leader of the New Schooler. Thanks for the knowledge.
I bought this CD after I heard UB Style on Yo! MTV Raps... I still have it but I'm lazy, thanks for the upload.

man this album was on steady rotation when I was younger. Glad I was not the only one who really enjoyed it. I also didn't know that E-Skee was supposed to be in the Leaders of The New School....wow learn something everyday.
Yeah, I copped the album back in 90 when cats was sleepin on the UBC. I saw the video(Treat me Right) on the Box(video music box). Been lookin for the joint for years and my barbers and I just said let's search the net and bam! 20 years later. Where is this cat now E-Ski. I need to do a joint with him
