Jury system for the Philippines

The Filipino People

Atty. Marlowe Camello, advocate of the jury system for the Philippines: "In order for the Filipino People to achieve peaceful control over their public servants, a peaceful device has to be instituted by law to implement Article II, Section 1, of the constitution. That peaceful device is none other than the creation of the JURY SYSTEM. This device shall enable the people to have a voice or vote in their judicial system to adjudge for themselves the legitimacy or anomaly of the conduct of their public servants or of anyone who commits a serious crime."
