JBC to submit Ombudsman shortlist to PNoy in July - Nation - GMA News Online - Latest Philippine News
Why have we converted the COMELEC and the Office of the OMBUDSMAN into a dumping bin for retired Supreme Court justices? Why do we always assume that retired justices are the best materials to fill the posts of Comelec chairman and Ombudsman? Are not the retired supposed to retire in peace, write books and be wise mentors of the young? Why not choose the young and the dynamic to lead the Comelec and the Ombudsman and other similar law/justice-related institutions?
