Davao Region police set to launch electronic blotter in January | Sun.Star

Cinco said E-blotter will be first launched in Davao City and Davao del Norte.

Aside from the E-blotter System, other project to be implemented this year is the E-ROG and E-Warrant that consists of centralized database.

All data are available to all police stations.

The E-ROG concedes information about the most wanted criminals and other detected delinquents, while in the E-Warrant, all police officers may access a data base of court issued order from any points in the country.

Since a blotter is a public document, the e-blotter is still accessible to the public and the media, thus, it would prevent police officers from tampering with records and manipulating the blotter entries.

This relevant technology will be the source of data for the Police Clearance System that will be implemented by the PNP in the near future. (Ivy Tejano)."
